Forbidden is an engaging team-based party game that challenges players to guess a word without using any of the associated forbidden words. For example, players may need to convey the word "Pizza" without mentioning words like "Cheese," "Slice," "Pepperoni," "Italian," or "Delivery." This clever twist adds excitement and creativity to the gameplay.
The game features user-friendly tilt controls that are easy to grasp, allowing players to indicate correct guesses by tilting the phone towards them or passing to the next word or phrase by tilting it away. This simplicity ensures that anyone can join in without needing extensive instructions or experience.
Forbidden offers over 2,000 cards to guess from, with more continuously added. These cards cover a wide range of categories including Kid Friendly / Easier Cards, Food, Music, Movies, Celebrities, Brands, Disney, World History, Travel Destinations, and many others. For an extra challenge or variety, players can also choose the "Everything" category, which combines cards from all other categories.
The game accommodates a minimum of 4 players, ensuring a lively and engaging experience. Additionally, there is a 2+ player mode available with further details provided in the app's instructions.
